MAC In the Groove + Superglass (picture heavy!)

So here's a round up on the things I got from MAC's In the Groove collection plus one item from the Superglass collection.

Lips:
Superglass in Disco Blend
Cremesheen Glass in Chillin'
Cremesheen Lipstick in Go For It

L-R: Disco Blend, Chillin' and Go For It.

Swatches in the exact order.

Some lip swatches for your viewing pleasure. Pictures are clickable.

My natural lip colour. The hair above my lips is very visible and not a pleasure to look at so I mosaic-ed it.

Superglass in Disco Blend - brownish peach. I'm totally in love with the different sized pearls! Texture's very smooth, I did not feel the pearls. The consistency is kinda tacky but not that I'm complaining. If it has great lasting power, I don't mind.

Cremesheen Glass in Chillin' - sheer milky baby blue with pearl. It settles into the lines of my lips, which is common among lipglosses with a milky colour but it doesn't look too bad actually. Smooth, creamy, non-sticky.

Cremesheen lipstick in Go For It - midtone purple. It looks blue purple in the tube but not quite when applied on the lips which is a little bit disappointing but I still love this colour to bits!

Eyes:
Mineralized Eye Shadow Trio in Togetherness

L-R: Satin lavender, pearly violet and satin grey. Pigmentation isn't fantastic but these can be used wet to get more saturated colours. The texture is pretty soft and smooth - easy to blend, easy to wear.

Here's a simple, pretty straight forward look I did using the eye shadow trio.

Supposed to have black eyeliner on my waterline but obviously it has worn off.

This is the same look as the FOTD I posted in my previous post. 2 readers were interested in the lipstick I was wearing. I've already replied them but I figured that it'd be best to share it here.

I was wearing the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte in No. 7 Lingerie Pink - a pastel baby pink. Sorry it's looking a little gross in this picture, I took it after I have worn it for a while. I absolutely LOVE the YSL Rouge Volupte! When I visit Melbourne this December I will definitely get more of it from the duty free store. They are expensive but totally worth it!

Now on to the look I was wearing in the video.

I believe this look only took me like 5 minutes, I did it before recording the video. I wanted to wear some of the products so that people can see how they look like when worn. Here's a list of some of the products I was wearing.

Face:
Mineralize Skin Finish in Stereo Rose (cheeks)
Mineralize Skin Finish in By Candlelight (browbone and all over the lids and inner corners)
Mineralize Blush Duo in New Vibe (I wasn't wearing this on my cheeks but I used the gold side on the centre of my eyelids)

In the pictures below, you'll see a dark patch in the MSFs (pointed with an arrow). I don't know what it is, probably some slips during editing. So just take note that it's actually not the MSF looking like that!

Stereo Rose - coral with bronze veinings. This gives a lovely glow to the skin when apply. Ultimately, this in my opinion is only great as a blush on my skintone. Of course, it's also practical for eye shadow but I'm not a fan of coral for eye shadow colour.

By Candlelight - Soft peachy pink with champagne veinings. I've never tried many MSFs but right now, this is my absolute favourite!

New Vibe - golden bronze and raspberry pink. Seriously, I find this product very underrated. Most of the other colours look pretty ordinary, the colour combination of this one in my opinion is different. The pigmentation is crazy!

I used the gold at the centre of my lids.

That is all! Thanks for watching/reading!

How much is the YSL Rouge Volupte in Aussie?
I saw the lipstick in Sogo and the price tag is RM96...
Is it cheaper to get in Aussie duty free?

Adeline: Oops! :P if u're looking for a powder highlight, i HIGHLY recommend by candlelight! the rest, i guess no harm if your pocket's in a good mood :D

PearlyButterfly: OMG YSL IS STILL AVAILABLE IN MALAYSIA!??! the rouge volupte are selling at AUD55 at counters but in one of the duty free stores, it's 40++ but they were having a promotion where you buy 3 and get 20% off each lipstick which is about AUD32 each, which is almost the same as retail price in the US! but ultimately, higher end cosmetics are usually cheaper here in M'sia for some reason so if you still can find it in M'sia, definitely get it here! the promotion in duty free store doesn't happen all the time!
