Secret Periwinkle *edited

Periwinkle is colour in the blue-violet family. Its name is derived from the lesser periwinkle or myrtle herb which bears flowers of the same color. The color Periwinkle is also called lavender blue. The color periwinkle may be considered a pale tint of indigo - a pastel indigo.

Nail of the week (probably next 2 weeks too...), just cos I don't change my nail colour very often. I'm lazy!

Absolutely ing this colour! :) Such a calm and pleasant colour.

Pros:
-Only 2 coats needed
-Dries quickly to a shiny finish even without a top coat! (But of course, with a top coat the shine stays on longer)
-Consistency is thin but has great pigmentation
-Very easy to work with
-Small brush gives a more precise application (this however, MUST come with great consistency otherwise, if the consistency is too thick or the polish dries too quickly, small brushes are a pain in the butt to work with)
-Great for any occasion, season and functions.

Cons:
Initially, my only complain was the small brush but once I started to do all my nails and noticed how little mistakes (polish on cuticles and fingers) I made as how I usually would make a lot, the small brush is actually not a bad thing so no cons! :)

* 19 June 2010 - I realise this doesn't stay on very well. It chipped at the 2nd day. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the base coat because I have worn other nail polishes which lasted longer than this, even with the same base coat.

Periwinkle is such a girly color. For some reason, it really reminds me of Easter!

I've never celebrated Ester, but I'm guessing maybe it's because it's a pastel colour? I do tend to see lots of pastel colours on decorated Easter eggs :)

My caterpillar brows are way too thick - I tried tweezing, and omg, I almost went cross-eyed...Same goes for the 'pits :P
